McKenzie School District
The McKenzie School District is approximately 35 miles long and lies along the beautiful McKenzie River in the northeast part of Oregon's Lane County. It includes students from McKenzie Bridge, Blue River, Finn Rock and Vida communities. The district is 45 east of Eugene/Springfield area, and is in close proximity to the University of Oregon and Lane Community College.
District patrons recently passed a $6.7 million bond levy for facility improvements and upgrades, including a new gymnasium. Another recent addition is a Lane Community College Leaning Center built with bond levy money passed by Lane County voters. The district has over 330 students in grades K-12.
