Proxy Falls Trail #3532

McKenzie Ranger District

From the McKenzie Ranger Station travel east on Hwy. 126 for 2 miles to the junction with Hwy. 242 (McKenzie/Santiam National Scenic Byway) and turn right. Continue on for 9.7 miles. Proxy Falls is on the right.

The trail is heavily forested with flowers blooming profusely in the spring. There are also open areas where lava fields are apparent. Follow the one-way loop trail to view both distinctly different waterfalls.

Use: Heavy
Difficulty: Easy, with some steep pitches in the first half mile
