Blue River Ranger District
From Blue River proceed east on Hwy. 126 for 3 miles and turn North
on USFS Rd. #15. Follow it for 5 miles to USFS Rd. #1509. Travel another
8 miles and park. It's another 1/4 mile walk along the logging spur road
to the trailhead.
This trail ends at the top of Tidbits Mountain, elevation 5,185 feet,
after beginning at 4,000 feet.
The grade on theTidbits Trail is moderate to the base of the mountain.
The last portion is steep and ends on a dangerous mountain peak, once the
site of an old lookout. It is recommended for experienced hikers. Views
from the top are of the Calapooya drainage.
