Blue River Ranger District
Take Hwy. 126 east for 3.5 miles from Blue River and turn right unto
USFS Rd. #19 (Aufderheide National Scenic Byway). Continue another 3 miles
to Cougar Dam and turn left unto USFS Rd. #1993. Travel another 14 miles
to Pat Saddle trailhead (on the right).
The trail begins at 5,200 feet and ends at 2,720 feet at the end of
USFS Rd. #19-441.
Going to the South, connections can be made to many other trails leading
deeper into the Three Sisters Wilderness Area.
To the North, an overnight stay in the Potholes area is an option. A
marked side trail leaves Olallie Trail not far from Lamb Butte.
