Leaburg Lake
Hidden in a Douglas-fir forest along the banks of the McKenzie River, Water Board Park at Leaburg Lake offers 55 acres of grounds and facilities that can accommodate small family picnics as well as large groups of up to 600.
Located at milepost 23.5 of the McKenzie Highway, the park offers modern picnic facilities with free electric stoves, softball diamonds, volleyball court, and a horseshoe pit. Water sports and fishing can be enjoyed on Leaburg Lake. Hikers can travel the nature trails. Views are also offered of Leaburg Lake, the Trout Hatchery, and a fish ladder.
Owned by the Eugene Water & Electric Board, the park is open for daytime use year-round. For more information or to reserve space for a group of 100 or more, call 484-2411.
